What is smart glass?
Smart glass, also named as Privacy Glass or Switchable Transparent Glass ( STG ),is an intelligent high function glass, which has a special characteristic of changing between clear and opaque by voltage control. With such a function, Smart glass meets people's double requirements of light transmission and protecting privacy.
PDLC film, whose light scattering power is adjustable through applying an electric field.
When power off, visible light scatters through the PDLC and the film turn opaque;
when power on, visible light transmits the PDLC and the film turns clear.

You can stick the self-adhesive smart film to glass, acrylic panel and any other flat transparent material, with a structure: glass + film.

TYPE 2. Non-Adhesive Film Sheet- Laminated PDLC Film
Laminated PDLC film is the main material to make smart glass. Customers can choose this item to make the ideal smart glass according to their own demands, being put between two pieces of glasses the structure: glass+ Laminated PDLC film + glass.
